Refined, but with a distinct island flair, the El Presidente has been called, “the Caribbean’s answer to the Manhattan.” It can be made with either light or dark rum, but we recommend trying it with our Silver rum for a luxurious sipping experience.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 ounces white rum
- 3/4 ounce dry vermouth
- 1/4 ounce orange curaçao
- 2 dashes grenadine
Garnish (Optional):
- Orange twist
Glassware:
- Coupe glass
Instructions:
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir until well-chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass or cocktail glass of your choice
- Garnish and enjoy!
