Palm Pilot

An elevated tiki-style drink that fully highlights Palm Republic’s Aged and Silver expressions. Made with our special Cinnamon-Vanilla Syrup. Recipe below!

Cinnamon-Vanilla Syrup Ingredients: 

  • 500 grams water
  • 5 cinnamon sticks
  • 500 grams cane sugar
  • 15 grams high quality vanilla paste

Palm Pilot Ingredients: 

  • 1.5 oz Palm Republic Silver Rum
  • .5 oz Palm Republic Aged Rum
  • 1 oz ruby red grapefruit juice
  • .66 oz fresh lime juice
  • 1 bar spoon allspice dram
  • 1 dash angostura bitters
  • 1 dash absinthe
  • 2 dash 10% saline solution
  • .5 oz Cinnamon-Vanilla Syrup

Garnish:

  • Orange slice

Glassware: 

  • Hurricane glass (or something else fun!)

Cinnamon-Vanilla Syrup Instructions:

  1. In a pot crush cinnamon sticks.
  2. Add the sugar, vanilla paste and water.
  3. Heat on a low-medium heat and stir constantly until the mixture is integrated (approximately 10 min.)
  4. Empty contents into a non-reactive container and let cool overnight.
  5. Strain off the crushed cinnamon sticks.

Palm Pilot Instructions:

  1. Fill a mixing glass with ice
  2. Add all ingredients to mixing glass
  3. Stir with bar spoon for 15-20 seconds until the mixing glass is cold
  4. Strain into a hurricane glass with fresh ice
  5. Garnish with an orange slice
