Palm Pilot

An elevated tiki-style drink that fully highlights Palm Republic’s Aged and Silver expressions. Made with our special Cinnamon-Vanilla Syrup. Recipe below!
Cinnamon-Vanilla Syrup Ingredients:
- 500 grams water
- 5 cinnamon sticks
- 500 grams cane sugar
- 15 grams high quality vanilla paste
Palm Pilot Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz Palm Republic Silver Rum
- .5 oz Palm Republic Aged Rum
- 1 oz ruby red grapefruit juice
- .66 oz fresh lime juice
- 1 bar spoon allspice dram
- 1 dash angostura bitters
- 1 dash absinthe
- 2 dash 10% saline solution
- .5 oz Cinnamon-Vanilla Syrup
Garnish:
- Orange slice
Glassware:
- Hurricane glass (or something else fun!)
Cinnamon-Vanilla Syrup Instructions:
- In a pot crush cinnamon sticks.
- Add the sugar, vanilla paste and water.
- Heat on a low-medium heat and stir constantly until the mixture is integrated (approximately 10 min.)
- Empty contents into a non-reactive container and let cool overnight.
- Strain off the crushed cinnamon sticks.
Palm Pilot Instructions:
- Fill a mixing glass with ice
- Add all ingredients to mixing glass
- Stir with bar spoon for 15-20 seconds until the mixing glass is cold
- Strain into a hurricane glass with fresh ice
- Garnish with an orange slice
